Terms of Service

1. The service

Skip Technology provides cloud software for skip-hire and waste operations ("the Service"). By creating an account you agree to these terms on behalf of your business.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of your data, for keeping login credentials secure, and for the actions of users you invite. Tell us immediately about any unauthorised use.

3. Plans, trials and billing

Plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. Trials are free for 14 days; no card is required. Plan limits (jobs, drivers, users) are shown on the Billing page. You may cancel any time; access continues to the end of the paid period. Prices exclude VAT and may change with 30 days' notice.

4. Your data

You own the data you enter. You grant us a licence to host and process it solely to provide the Service. We process personal data per our Privacy Policy. You can export your data at any time; we delete it 90 days after your subscription ends.

5. Regulatory compliance

The Service includes tools to help you meet obligations such as waste transfer notes and Defra Digital Waste Tracking. You remain solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of submissions, for holding the correct permits, licences and registrations, and for retaining records for the statutory periods. We do not provide legal advice.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Service, attempt to access other customers' data, upload unlawful content, or use it to send spam.

7. Availability and support

We aim for 99.9% monthly uptime but the Service is provided "as is". Planned maintenance will be announced in advance where practical. Support is by email; response targets depend on your plan.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid in that period. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including regulatory penalties arising from data you submitted.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend accounts for non-payment or breach of these terms. You may close your account at any time from the Billing page.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be emailed to account owners at least 30 days in advance.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
